By booking a class or 1:1 session with Becky Simons Pilates you are agreeing to the terms and conditions as set out below.

Participants requirements

Mat classes are booked in blocks depending on the course duration and need to be paid before the course begins in order to secure your space.

Please ensure payment is paid upon receipt. Becky Simons Pilates has the right to refuse entry if payment has not been made before the class begins.

It is expected that you will make every effort possible to attend your class weekly.

If you have a prearranged commitment (Holiday, work etc) please let Becky Simons Pilates know at the time of booking/paying, this will be taken into consideration with rolling classes, however this may not be possible if you are attending a specific course.

If you are unable to make a class at short notice, please let Becky Simons Pilates know as soon as possible. Notice must be given with 24hrs but more notice is always appreciated. Failure to give notice within 24hrs or not attending your session (in any circumstances) will result in you losing that class credit. This does not apply if Becky Simons Pilates cancels for any reason. This class will automatically roll over.

Physical activity

By signing up to Becky Simons Pilates members are agreeing to these Terms and conditions and hereby confirm that they have no health problems which may affect their participation in any sessions of Pilates. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that she/he is capable of undergoing a routine of exercises provided by any programme which she/he follows or class which she/he attends. It is the client's responsibility to fill out a health form before attending. All Participant's agree that they are voluntarily engaging in physical exercise and by signing the Health Form (PAR-Q) and taking part in an exercise class, Participants fully assume the risk of injury or harm. Participants agree that the instructor cannot be held responsible for any injuries or ill health arising from their participation in face to face or online classes. Members accept the risk of injury from performing exercises and are advised to consult their doctor prior to beginning any session if in doubt. Members accept full responsibility for any injuries which may incur and wave any claim they may have at any time for any injury of any sort against Becky Simons Pilates.

It is the Member’s sole responsibility to notify Becky Simons Pilates before attending any session of any circumstances affecting their health which may be exacerbated through exercise. Members are advised not to undertake strenuous physical activity without first seeking medical advice if they have concerns over their physical condition and wellbeing. If there is any doubt, the Member should consult his/her doctor.

Becky Simons Pilates reserves the right to refuse access to any Member if, in its absolute discretion, it considers that the health of the individual concerned may be endangered by participating in pilates sessions.

Advice provided by Instructors at no time constitutes medical advice in substitute for advice provided by a medical professional.

​Personal belongings are brought into the premises at the Participant's own risk and we do no t accept liability for any loss of damage whatsoever to such items.

​Members are required to follow the instructions of the instructor at all times.

Group Classes/1:1 sessions

Payment is taken per session in advance or paid for in blocks of 6.

Block sessions of 6 must be taken within 8 weeks unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed.

If you are unable to make a pre-booked session, please let Becky Simons Pilates know as soon as possible (notice must be given within 24hrs - failure to do so will result in you losing that class credit) so that it can be rebooked within the above time restraints.

Please arrive in good time to start your session.

General requirements

Please wear suitable comfortable clothing for your Pilates class. Outdoor footwear will need to be removed before hand, however socks can be worn. I recommend wearing grip socks (socks with rubber padding on the soles) to prevent slipping. Alternately bare feet or normal socks are also fine.

Becky Simons Pilates Requirements

Becky Simons Pilates will ensure you have completed a PARQ (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire) before you start the class either online or on paper.

Becky Simons Pilates will monitor you throughout the class and make adjustments/modifications where needed.

Becky Simons Pilates with your permission, may discuss your physical abilities with other Health Professionals (Chiropractor, Physiotherapist, Sports Therapist etc) and Pilates Instructors to ensure you are getting the most from your sessions.

Becky Simons Pilates will give you as much notice as possible if classes need to be cancelled, contacting you by email and phone.

Becky Simons Pilates will take into consideration your needs and goals when designing your session, however, it may be necessary to adjust your expectations in line with my teaching methods to ensure safe practice.

Becky Simons Pilates will endeavour to start and finish your session on time.

Becky Simons Pilates with your permission, may discuss your physical abilities with other Health Professionals (Chiropractor, Physiotherapist, Sports Therapist etc) and Pilates Instructors to ensure you are getting the most from your sessions.
